The 2011-12 Concord Carlisle girls basketball team got off to a slow start in its opening night home game (Friday 12/9/11) against DCL small school rival Weston. CC made a surge in the second half to get within one point before dropping the game 44-41. This year CC fields a young team, with its two senior captains, guards Jessie Castelline and Lily Gordon. The team has a strong group of juniors including Halle Burns (forward), Katie Angelakis (center), Annie Grant (guard), Jessie Brennan (guard), and Audrianna Monteiro (forward). Sophomores on the team include Ali Della Volpe (guard), Hannah Deignan (guard) and starter Angela DeBruzzi (guard). There is one freshman on the team, Diamond Green (center). Long-time head coach Joe Bodenrader is assisted by Amy Brooks and Kim Magee runs the JV squad. Most of the girls games this season will be video recorded and available online using the link below.
