I woke up (last week) at dawn to look out my bedroom window to embrace the day. Much to my delight, Momma Deer and her three brand new triplets were feeding and frolicking in the backyard. Momma had triplets last year too. We are in for another wonderful summer and fall watching the young ones grow and learn about the new world they just entered.
After snapping a few photos on my iPhone, I snuck outside and took up a seat on the bench. The sun was just coming up, the air was crisp and dry, and except for the occasional snorting of one of the Fawns, it was a beautiful and peaceful experience.
