Super Bowl Victory - A Three Step Climb
The Concord Carlisle Football team wins the Super Bowl after 3 years of improvement.

In 2008, the year before Mike Robichaud took over as coach of the Concord Carlisle program that promising team lost to Bedford on Thanksgiving day and Bedford went on to represent the Dual County small school division in the MIAA tournament. In 2009, CC represented Dual County small school division in the MIAA tournament but lost in the first round of the MIAA playoffs to Masconomet. In 2010 CC won the first round of the MIAA playoffs but then lost to a really tough Duxbury team in the Gillette Stadium Super Bowl game. In 2011, CC breezed through its regular season schedule routing for the first time in my memory Acton-Boxborough and Lexington. The toughest game they had all year was against Holliston in the first round of MIAA playoffs where they managed to hold on for a 32-27 victory. This year in Foxborough, our Patriots were the heavy favorites in a mismatch with Oliver Ames (Easton, MA). They did not disappoint with a lopsided victory, 42-9, where the score was closer than the game. It has been 3 steps forward to a Super Bowl win from a disappointing loss to Bedford in 2008.
