As summer winds down, join Kerem Shalom's Sharon Gillett for a spirited Erev Shabbat service. We'll learn melodies for the opening verses of Psalm 95, the poetry that traditionally begins the service to welcome the Sabbath (Kabbalat Shabbat). We'll also make time for anyone who is saying Kaddish and would like to share a few words about their loved one. A song sheet will be provided, and an Oneg will follow the service. All are welcome!

Join artist Moko Fukuyama for a special sunset conversation in the Sculpture Park. Fukuyama will speak about her large-scale installation <a href="https://thetrustees.org/content/moko-fukuyama-menagerie/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Menagerie</a> (2024), a vivid, open-structured sculpture that transforms salvaged trees into an array of hand-carved, lure-like forms.
Fukuyama will discuss how her practice is guided by the forms of salvaged wood, as well as her interest in human desire and sustainability. Influenced by a reverence for nature rooted in Shinto thought, her work invites us to think deeply about our relationship to the environment.

A juicy biopic, the play&nbsp;stirs&nbsp;the bigger questions still at the heart of our experience;&nbsp;the ensemble of characters includes&nbsp;Concord’s own, Ralph Waldo Emerson. Fruitlands Museum

Join the Concord Band, directed by James O’Dell, on the concert lawn this summer as the Band returns to the Fruitlands Outdoor Stage for its 41st season of live music. Concerts start at 7:15pm. The theme of the July 23 concert will be “A Little Night Music” featuring Concord Band small ensembles. Bring your favorite fare, enjoy stunning sunset views, and settle in for an evening of music performed by a variety of small groups of band members. Bring a blanket and lawn chairs - there’s plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the evening. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. Limited seating is available on the patio.
