Committee Appointments, Gifts

The selectmen made the following appointments:

J. William Kenney, Jennifer Hashley and Charles Poutasse as alternate members of the Agriculture Committee.

The selectmen noted that Concord's Agricultural Day will be Sept. 4 in the Milldam when the town's farmers will be recognized for their contribution to the town. Farmer's market shopping will be available.

Jerry Frenkil to the White Pond Advisory Committee.

Sandra Conrad to the Hugh Cargill Trust Committee.

G. Peter Healey to the Hugh Cargill Trust Committee.

Reinier Beeuwkes, Carol Bowen, Jennifer Clarke, Richard Frese and Robert Lawson to the 375th Birthday Celebration Committee.

The selectmen also acknowledged the following gifts to the town:

$1,200 to the Concord Open Golf Tournament from the Fred Salvucci Corporation;

$2,500 to the 375th Birthday Celebration account from Primo Water Corporation.
