Concord Market Vote Postponed by ZBA: Report

The vote on the 15,000-square-foot Concord Market has been postponed by the Zoning Board of Appeals, reports the Concord Journal.

CONCORD, MA—The proposed 15,000-square-foot Concord Market will have to wait a bit longer to receive a go-ahead from the Concord Zoning Board of Appeals, according to a report by the Concord Journal

According to the Journal's report, the ZBA has continued discussion of the proposed market to its July 14 meeting, after several residents spoke out for and against the project. Planning Board members voted 4-2 in favor of the new market planned at Millbrook Tarry, near Lowell and Keyes Roads on June 7.

If approved and constructed, the market would join a Rite Aid, Trails End Cafe, Citizen's Bank and Irving Oil gas station on the site.
