Concord Police Log: 'Break-In' Turns Out to Be Loud TV; Movers, Neighbor Dispute; Suspicious Man Photographs Mailbox
The following are excerpts from the Concord police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.
Tue., March 17
- 1:53 p.m. A vehicle struck a pole on Old Bedford Road.
- 3:31 p.m. A tree was torn down in the middle of the road on Walden Street.
- 4:55 p.m. A woman on Blueberry Lane said a suspicious man was taking pictures of her mailbox.
- 6:27 p.m. A man came in to the police station and said he was the victim of credit fraud.
Thur., March 19
- 8:04 a.m. A woman on Bedford Street said a moving truck blocked her driveway and the workers refused to move.
- 12:01 p.m. A lost golden retriever was found on Partridge Lane.
- 4:15 p.m. A woman suffered minor injuries in a two-car crash in Monument Square.
- 7:22 p.m. Following a traffic stop on Route 2 west, Kolya Brill, 28, of Shutesbury, was charged with driving with a suspended registration, having an uninsured vehicle, and having no inspection sticker.
- 8:23 p.m. An elderly woman on Sudbury Road said someone was trying to break into her home. Officers arrived and she said the noise may have been coming from the television.
