Concord Police Log: Coyote on the Prowl; Chinese Currency Stolen; Vehicle Parked at District Court Vandalized

Mon., Nov. 3

  • 12:57 p.m. A driver struck and killed a deer on Main Street. The driver was not hurt.
  • 10:06 a.m. Someone stole a laptop, Chinese currency, and a passport from a vehicle on Fairhaven Road.
  • 2:02 p.m. An erratic driver was reported on Main Street.
  • 2:53 p.m. A resident of Bradford Street said she heard something that sounded like fireworks. It turned out to be from a nail gun at a construction site.
  • 6:39 p.m. A deer was struck by a vehicle on Lowell Road. The animal ran off.

Tue., Nov. 4

  • 11:49 a.m. The manager of Crosby’s Market said a teenager was soliciting money outside the store.
  • 4:46 p.m. One person suffered a head injury in a two-car crash on Walden Street.
  • 9:45 p.m. A coyote was seen walking up to doors and cars on Adams Road.

  • 5:24 a.m. Following a traffic stop on Commonwealth Avenue, Claudiney de Araujo, 47, of Lowell, was charged with driving without a license.
  • 7:45 p.m. The owner of a car parked at District Court on Walden Street said his vehicle was vandalized.
