Concord Police Log: Teen Steals From Concord Outfitters, Punches Worker, Flees on Bicycle

The following are excerpts from the Concord police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Thur., Oct. 9

  • 7:09 a.m. A drive said she hit a dog or coyote with her car on William Road. Police looked for the animal but couldn’t find it.
  • 10:24 a.m. A tractor-trailer hit a sign near Fitness Together on Thoreau Street.
  • 1:51 p.m. Benito Siguencia, 34, of Lowell, was charged with unlicensed operation of a vehicle following a minor crash on Route 2.
  • 7:24 p.m. Fireworks were reported on Stow Street.
  • 9:42 p.m. Thefts to vehicles were reported at Concord Country Club.

Fri., Oct. 10

  • 1:37 a.m. Jesse Bergeron, 28, of Westminster, was charged with driving with a suspended license.
  • 10:42 a.m. A box truck struck an overpass on Main Street. No one was hurt.
  • 11:04 a.m. A woman said a driver in a white Chevrolet Silverado wsa speeding on Nashawtuc Road. When she yelled at him, he back up and yelled at her.
  • 3:05 p.m. Staff at Concord Outfitters on Commonwealth Avenue said a teenager may have stolen some items. When confronted, the teen punched an employee and took off on a bicycle. The teen was wearing a black hat. Police could not immediately locate him.
  • 5:52 p.m. A woman called police and said a group was smoking a marijuana joint behind a restaurant on Grant Street.
