Concord Snapshot: Hats for Habitat for Humanity
The Concord Rotary holds a hat contest in support of the Greater Lowell Habitat for Humanity.

The brothers McWalter won; Dave for having the most nostalgic hat. He wore a Davy Crockett-inspired coonskin cap. Brother Robert grabbed a cloth napkin from his place-setting and arranged it around his head. He won for having the most creative, "sporting a tablecloth," the judges noted.
The most annoying hat prize went to President Ann Trudeau who had a military-style helmet, and the best overall hat prize went to Helen Halloran who wore a heavily decorated flower pot hat. She is in the floral business.
