Concord Teachers Parade Through Town To See Students
Teachers at Willard Elementary School drove around town to spread love to their housebound students.
CONCORD, MA — Concord teachers may not be in the classroom but they're still going above and beyond for their students. Willard Elementary School teachers decided to drive around town on Monday for a special car parade for students.
The teachers cars had balloons popping out and signs taped to them reading "We miss you all," as teachers waved from the drivers side.
Concord public schools will stay closed until May 4. On Monday, the district transitioned to phase two of its virtual learning curriculum. Teachers have been holding class through Zoom and Google Classroom — Elementary teachers have been providing enrichment, extension, and review activities for students in reading, writing and math.
