In its final performances on Friday and Saturday, The Concord Youth Theatre will perform "Urinetown," the musical.
The musical "is a hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold," according to a press release from the theatre. "In a city with a 20-year drought, the government is forced to ban public toilets. Amid the people, a hero decides he's had enough and plans a revolution."
All performances, on Friday July 16 and Saturday, will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Middlesex School Performing Arts Center, 1400 Lowell Road. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased online with a credit card at www.concordyouththeatre.org or by calling for reservations at (978) 371-1482, mailbox 1 or paying at the door.
