Our beloved illustrator from Bordeaux, France, Miss Clara joins us in the Concord Studio to lead children (age 8+) and adults in a brief, informal discussion about her stunning illustration technique and artistry, described by Kirkus as "...sophisticated, surreal and dreamlike." This brief, informal discussion is free and open to all. Then registered participants (adults and older children) will learn how to build and decorate their own cunning, 3-D princess slipper from simple patterns that they will draw on paper, cut out, and glue together to decorate -- all in Miss Clara’s own handmade papers. Book signing also available! Miss Clara is the acclaimed designer of our unforgettable 2011 Concord Trees exhibit, and is the illustrator of The Snow Queen and the forthcoming Barefoot Books title, The Twelve Dancing Princesses. $10 per person.
