Author Lucia Greenhouse

Author Lucia Greenhouse will share excerpts from her recent memoir, fathermothergod, at the Gleason Public Library on Wednesday, May 23rd, at 7 p.m. "A powerfully affecting memoir," states Kirkus Reviews of Greenhouse's gripping articulation of one family’s story intertwined with its relationship with the Christian Science church. Greenhouse, a cousin of former Carlisle Selectmen John Ballantine, shares a story that captures the complex morality of a family embedded in a little-understood belief system. Registration is recommended at 978-369-4898. The program is free and open to the public.
