Bereavement Support Group at Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord, Oct 23-Nov 20

Losing a loved one to death is one of the most painful experiences we can have. It helps to share that pain with people who understand what you're going through. A support group is an effective way to help the bereaved begin to heal because it offers a safe place for people to do the work of mourning.

Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street in Concord, offers a new bereavement support group on Sunday afternoons from 3-4:30 pm, beginning on Sunday, October 23, 2011. This will be a spiritual environment where individuals can share their feelings and experiences in a caring and confidential setting while receiving information about the grief process. Led by Buck Grace and Anne Lynch, the group will meet for five weekly sessions through November 20. This is a free program; please register by October 13.

If interested in joining us, or if you have questions, please contact Anne Lynch at 978-369-3715.  It will be a "closed" group after the October 23 session; no additional people will be able to join after the October 23 starting date. Participants are expected to make every effort to attend all five sessions.  If you need transportation, please contact a group leader and the Caring Connection will try to find you a ride.
