The Town of Concord Board of Appeals will hold a public meeting for new hearings on Thursday, July 14, 2011, at 8:00 P.M. in the First Floor Meeting Room, 141 Keyes Road, Concord, Massachusetts, on petitions for variances, applications for special permits, comprehensive permits or appeals from decisions of the Building Inspector. A public meeting for a work session and/or continued hearings will be held at 7:30 P.M.

Continuances are typically heard between 7:30pm – 8:00pm with new hearings scheduled to begin at 8:00pm. At the discretion of the Chair, continuances that are unresolved at 8:00pm could be tabled until after all scheduled new hearings conclude.
Continuances:
1. John Boynton, on behalf of Bradford Street LLC and Fordbrad LLC, for a Special Permit and Site Plan Approval, under Sections 7.1.2, 7.1.3, 7.7.2.12, 11.6 and 11.8, to change or substantially extend a non-conforming use, to reconstruct, extend, alter or change a non-conforming structure and for relief from parking requirements at 23, 33, 43, 53, and Lot 8A Bradford Street (Parcels 2217-1 and 2217-1-1).
2. Elm Street LLC for a Special Permit and Site Plan Approval, under Sections 7.1.2, 7.7.3.4, 7.7.3.12, 11.6 and 11.8, to change or substantially extend a non-conforming use at 686 Elm Street.
New Hearings:
1. 8:00 P.M. – Elm Street LLC for a Variance from the Sign Bylaw, under Sections 3c(2), 4, 6d and 8b(3) and 13a, to allow two non-white LED pricing signs on the existing freestanding sign and for a Special Permit, under Sections 7.1.3 and 11.6 of the Zoning Bylaw, to reconstruct, extend, alter or change a non-conforming structure at 686 Elm Street.
2. 8:05 P.M. – Chris Mathews, on behalf of Mary Read, for a Special Permit, under Sections 7.1.2, 7.1.3, 7.1.5 and 11.6, to change or substantially extend a non-conforming use and to reconstruct, extend, alter or change a non-conforming structure at 333 Thoreau Street
3. 8:10 P.M. – Paul J. and Shauna R. Tibbitt for a Special Permit, under Sections 6.2.7, 6.2.11, 7.1.2, 7.1.3, 7.1.5 and 11.6, for relief from the 15 foot height limitation in the 3 foot side yard exception area in the Residence C District, to change or substantially extend a non-conforming use and to reconstruct, extend, alter or change a non-conforming structure at 89 Grant Street.
4. 8:15 P.M. – Milltarry Offices Registered LLP for a Variance from the Sign Bylaw, under Sections 3c(2) and 8c, to allow a secondary wall sign above the Lowell Road entrance to the Café at 97 Lowell Road Unit 13A.
