This 90-minute clay workshop invites children (ages 5+) to get creative with clay! Led by Sarah Brow-Hill, artist and craftsperson with 15+years experience in ceramics, focused on the fundamentals of sculpting and hand-building. This month we’re traveling round the world with a reading of My Granny Went to Market before settling in to make beautiful Mexican masks using slab-rolling/modeling techniques. Pieces will be ready to be painted approx. a week later (at no additional cost), and ready for pick-up in early October. Ages 5+. $25 includes all materials, paints, glaze, 2 firings and required finishing work.
