Local anglers from Concord and Carlisle will gather again for presentations and interactive discussions for novice and experienced anglers alike. The meeting will be in Union Hall from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23.
There will be two presentations, "Confessions of a Montana Fly Fishing Bum" by John Kirk and "2010 Cape Cod Saltwater Fishing Reports and Recommendations for 2011" by Capt. Steve Kirk.
John Kirk will discuss his Montana fly fishing experiences and provide tips on which rivers to fish, such as the Gallatin, Madison, Yellowstone, Jefferson, and Missouri (photos included). He will also talk about Montana recreational activities (skiing, mountain biking, hiking etc.) and local attractions like Yellowstone National Park. John grew up in Carlisle and is a graduate of Concord Carlisle High School and the University of Vermont. He currently resides in Bozeman, Montana where he is employed by The Yellowstone Club and Montana Troutfitters (www.troutfitters.com). He is a certified fly fishing guide in Montana.

Steve Kirk will review his 2010 fishing experiences around Cape Cod and make recommendations for the probable better fishing areas for the 2011 season. This will include interactive participation from the audience.
