Two of the Concord Conservatory of Music’s outstanding faculty, Paul Jacobs (piano) and Ji-won Suh (cello) will pair up to play a free concert at CCM on Thursday May 10th at 1:00pm. This concert program will feature piano and cello works by Schumann, Brahms’ and Debussy.
CCM is proud to host their performance as part of the Concord Conservatory of Music’s Faculty Concert Series, which is funded in part by a grant from the Concord Cultural Council. The concert is free and open to the public.
Mr. Jacobs performs extensively on the east coast and his repertoire covers the standard classics as well as 20th century and new works. Recent solo recitals included works by Sofia Gubaidulina, and the Ives Concord Sonata; and recent chamber music performances featured works by John Harbison, Lee Hyla, and Leon Kirchner.
Ms. Suh has been featured with orchestras worldwide, including The Hungary Svaria Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Waltz Orchestra, and Cheju Symphony Orchestra. She recently performed with the Ewha Celli, a 24 cello ensemble and has recently given a recital in Catania, Italy.
