Concord Five Choirs Festival at Trinity Episcopal Church, Feb. 12 at 4 PM

The Concord Five Choirs Festival makes its debut on Sunday, February 12 at 4 PM in the main sanctuary of Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord, 81 Elm Street in Concord.  Five choirs from Concord churches will gather together to sing Bruckner "Locus Iste", Hairston "Poor man Lazarus," Mendelssohn "Da Nobis Pacem," and Praetorius "Jubilate Deo"  In addition to these larger choral works, each individual choir will sing selected works on its own.

The participating choirs represent Trinity Episcopal Church (Robert Barney, music director), Trinitarian Congregational Church (Victoria Wagner, music director), First Parish (Beth Norton, music director), Holy Family Catholic Church (James Barkovic, music director), and West Concord Union Church (James Barkovic, music director).  The five directors will share conducting and accompanying duties in this afternoon concert.

This event is open to the public.  A free-will offering to support Concord Open Table will be accepted.
Concord Open Table is part of a regional program which offers a weekly community supper program and pantriy  in Concord at First Parish Church in Concord.  Open Table serves more than 200 guests, including many children -- no questions asked.  To learn more about this program, please visit http://www.opentable.org.
