Children (ages 4+) explore science-themed activities inspired by the popular PBS Kids Go! series FETCH! with Ruff-Ruffman, led by a visiting staff member from The Discovery Museums in Acton.
At Special Friends on 2/14, we’ll read The Boy Who Grew Flowers and then create a thaumotrope (wonder turner) that helps Rink shape-shift and explore balance as we build a shoe for his special friend. At Wild Imagination on 2/28, we’ll read Ruby’s School Walk and then explore camouflage and build a pinball machine as we recreate Ruby’s journey. Ages 4+. $5 per child ($10 family max.).
