Losing a loved one to death is one of the most painful experiences we can have. It helps -- and is necessary -- to share that pain with people who understand what you're going through. A support group is an effective way to help the bereaved heal because it offers a safe place for people to do the work of mourning.
Trinity Episcopal Church's "Caring Connection" offers a new "Good Grief" bereavement support group on Monday mornings from 10:30 am-12:00 noon beginning October 25th. This will be a spiritual environment where individuals can share their feelings and experiences in a caring and confidential setting while receiving information about the grief process. Led by Buck Grace and Anne Lynch, the group will meet at Trinity Episcopal Church, 81 Elm Street in Concord, for five weekly sessions through Nov. 22. This is a free program.
This will be a "closed" group after the first session on October 25; no additional people will be able to join after that October 25 starting date.
