Holy Family Parish Concord Festival of Authors: Reverend Bill Barry, SJ: "Changed Heart, Changed World"

Holy Family Parish in Concord, as part of the Concord Festival of Authors, is pleased to present Reverend Bill Barry, SJ in a presentation on Thursday, October 27 at 7:30 PM in Monument Hall, Concord Center.  Father Barry, a noted spiritual author, will be talking about his latest book, Changed Heart, Changed World. 

 

Father Barry has been a Jesuit for 61 years, a priest for 49 years, and has a PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Michigan. He has taught at Michigan, Weston Jesuit School of Theology and Boston College, and has had a number of administrative posts in his province. He is a spiritual director, retreat director and writer and co-director of the New England province tertianship program, residing at Campion Center, Weston. About the subject of the book Father Barry writes:  “Friendship with God changes our world; it is important for adult faith formation of Christians, both for our prayer and for our mission to help God to move the world toward his dream.”
