Meet San Francisco-based educator, author, and storyteller, Susan Katz, as she transforms into (costumed) Mama Earth for this morning celebration. This special story time will include props and puppets that show children how to appreciate the many magnificent aspects of nature. After her performance, children can make a fun related craft. Painting of Earth-inspired pottery pieces will be discounted for attendees.
Ms. Katz is the author of Barefoot Books' new title, My Mama Earth, an imaginative and lyrical picture book that showcases the love between a mother and child, as well as the ever-changing beauty of the natural world.
