We’re headed to the Pacific Islands to make decorative Keveke masks. These traditional masks, made to honor the Pacific Islander’s Ancestors and typically used in ceremonial dances, carved from wood, coconut fiber and up to 20 feet tall! We’ll keep it simple so kids (ages 4-7) won’t risk the splinters. Led by Mass. College of Art graduate, Madeline Coop, this limited-space workshop will run for an hour and include related storytelling. Ages 4-7. Pre-register. $8.
