Special Adult Faith Formation Sessions 'What Are They Saying About….?'

Holy Family Parish in Concord, will be hosting Reverend George Evans, pastor of Saint Julia parish in Weston on Tuesday, October 18 at the parish center building in West Concord. Father Evans will kickoff a year long program of special adult Faith Formation sessions under the rubric What Are They Saying About….? In this inaugural session, Father Evans will address the topic of saints and will present and explore questions about saints which he wrote about in his book, “101 Questions and Answers on Saints” (Paulist Press) If you have questions about saints, this is the lecture to attend.

 

Fr. George Evans attended Boston College (BA), St. John’s Seminary (M.Div) and The Catholic University of America (STL and STD). He served for 18 years as a spiritual director at Saint John’s Seminary. He has been the pastor of St. Julia Parish since 2003 and is also involved in archdiocesan pastoral planning efforts.

The class will be held at the Holy Family Parish office building located at 55 Church Street in West Concord immediately behind the New Church and opposite the Harvey Wheeler Center  at 7:30 PM.  A donation of $5 – 10 is deeply appreciated.
