Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord invites you to its Sunday morning Adult Forum, Trinity's adult education program, which meets weekly at 9 AM to hear speakers connect us to these topics: word, worship, wonder, world, and witness, five important aspects of our Christian life.
Have you ever heard of NEADS (National Education for Assistance Dog Services, also known as Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans)? NEADS is a non-profit organization that provides canine assistance for people who are deaf or have a disability (for further information, please visit www.neads.org). About 90-95% of NEADS puppies are trained in correctional facilities throughout New England, including MCI Concord. Statistics show that dogs trained by prison inmates complete the required advanced training in half the time of dogs raised exclusively in foster homes. We invite you to come to the Trinity Forum on April 29 to learn about NEADS and meet Trinity parishioners who are involved in the program. CEO Gerry DeRoche -- as well a real live NEADS dog!-- will be with us to tell more about this outstanding program.
Trinity's invited Forum speakers come from many walks of life and have addressed all manner of topics. Among our recent topics are pilgrimage, faith lost and found, histories and Biblical persons, death, dying and grieving, parenting, stewardship, education, and much more.
Childcare begins in Trinity's nursery at 9 AM; Trinity's buildings are fully accessible. For further information on this or other programs at Trinity, please call our Parish Office, 978/369-3715, or visit us on-line at http://www.trinityconcord.org.
