Let your little ones be inspired by the work of area fourth graders as their Ambassadors help spread the word about the threatened Blanding’s Turtle. Stories will be shared, the children’s own non-fiction short stories will be read aloud, followed by a show-and-tell of their own class turtles, Yertle and Lynn-D. Stay on and paint a (discounted) clay turtle; let the morning’s events inspire your creative interpretation! Free to all ages (pottery project discounted for attendees).
