Garden at Newbury Court

Intrepid gardeners make good use of soil.

"The Farm" at Newbury Court blossomed this year with flowers, fruits and vegetables thanks to the efforts of some of its residents.

A community garden, aka "The Farm", is the pride of a dozen residents and staff at Newbury Court, a continuing care residence.

A joint effort from rototilling to composting, the plots were planted with American Indian "Three Sisters" (corn, beans, squash), tomatoes, beets, kale, cucumbers,     squash, melons and more.
