Healing Garden Announces Winter Cancer Support Programs
The Healing Garden provides a community of support & therapeutic services for men and women affected by cancer throughout Mass.
The Virginia Thurston Healing Garden Cancer Support Center (The Healing Garden) announces Winter cancer support programs for men and women, their families and caregivers. A wide range of individual and group services are available including movement and strengthening classes, estate planning workshops, mindfulness training and cancer support groups. Expressive arts workshops include mind-body sound therapy, writing for wellness, sand painting and more.
Winter programs run December 3, 2018-February 28, 2019 at The Healing Garden, 145 Bolton Road, Harvard. The Healing Garden welcomes clients from MetroWest, Greater Boston and towns across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The Healing Garden’s mission is to improve quality of life and well-being for people with cancer. In a serene facility located on 8 acres of woodlands and gardens in Harvard, MA, we offer therapeutic support services, integrative care and wellness education to all people with cancer, their families and caregivers, regardless of diagnoses, gender, or financial barriers. In recognition of the financial impact of cancer, services are low cost for patients, caregivers and families.

Winter Programs require pre-registration; many programs are open to the public. One-to-one therapeutic services from counseling to oncology massage are offered on a sliding scale.
