ICYMI: Concord Police Set Up 24-Hour Crime Tip Line
The tip line is for non-violent, non-threatening crimes and tips to help police catch offenders.

CONCORD, MA – The Concord Police Department has established a 24-hour crime tip line where residents can report tips on non-urgent crimes. The line serves as a direct link to the police department for non-violent, non-threatening crimes or tips about suspects.
Instead of calling 911 or the department's business line, residents can leave a message on the tip line to be reviewed by Concord police. Tipsters will be contacted by police should they leave their name.
The line was created in response to requests for another outlet to report crimes without having to call the emergency line or file a formal report. It does not serve as an alternative to 911 and is not monitored 24 hours a day.

"This tip line is another way for the public to communicate with our department," Chief Joseph O’Connor said in a release. "Members of our community asked for this service and we are meeting that need. As always, we ask that if people see something, they say something."
In an emergency, residents should still call 911 or the Concord Police Department at 978-318-3400. The tip line can be reached at 978-318-3407.
