Lent at Trinity: Meditative Labyrinth, Apr 18-20
Make an opportunity to take part in an ancient tradition.

Walking a labyrinth is a very ancient meditative technique found all over the world. There is one path in, and the same path out; it is not a maze. In the Christian Era, it became a metaphor for Jesus’ story. To walk in is to reflect on that which separates us from the love of God — loneliness, suffering, evil and death — but one walks out into the light of the Resurrection with its promise of renewal and God’s never-ending love.
Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord invites all ages to walk our indoor labyrinth while listening to meditative music. You can spend as little as half an hour or walk for longer, if you wish. There is no one way to journey through the labyrinth. In the parish hall there are numerous materials suggesting ways to walk the labyrinth and handouts for you to take home. Please be prepared to remove your shoes while walking the canvas labyrinth. If walking is difficult, come and use finger labyrinths and the materials to draw your own to take home. Children and families are welcome!
