During the peak demand hours from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., you can help to reduce the town's demand for electricity by turning up the temperature on your air conditioning a few degrees, shutting off your pool pump, planning to do laundry, running your dishwasher, etc. before or after the peak hours.
As always, thank you for your help in conserving electricity during our summer peak which has the dual benefit of reducing costs while reducing the environmental impact of peak generating units.
