The following announcement was provided by the League of Women Voters of Concord and Carlisle.

Contested elections and informed voters help keep a democracy healthy. This fall two candidates, Representative Cory Atkins (Democrat for re-election) and Michael J. Benn (Republican), are vying to serve the next 2-year term as Representative in the Massachusetts House for the 14th Middlesex District.

Both candidates will appear before the voters on Wednesday, October 17, 7:30-8:30 p.m., in the Willard Elementary School auditorium at a Candidates’ Night sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Concord-Carlisle. The school is at 185 Powder Mill Road in Concord. The forum is free and open to the public.
