Patriots Continue Strong Season on the Slopes

The girls and boys teams took part in their fourth meet of the ski season.

On January 30 Concord Carlisle High School participated in its fourth Alpine Ski Meet of the season in the Mass Bay West Omega Division.   The Boys team placed second out of eight schools in the Giant Slalom Event, narrowly missing first, which was taken by Lincoln Sudbury, a team that continues to be extremely strong this season.

Derrick Amodei was the first to come across for the Patriots with 6th place and a time of 45.42. Right behind Amodei was Andrew Solomon in 7th place and 45.47.

Senior Alex Nardone finished 9th with a time of 46.34.  James Bloomfield was next for CC with 10th place and a time of 46.66, followed by Nick Solomon in 12th with 47.42.  Jake Mulligan finished 20th with a time of 49.04.

The Girls Team placed 4th with Alli Barrett as the first CC girl to finish with 15th place overall and a time of 49.74. Right behind was Emma Mahoney in 16th with 50.74.

Freshman Reilly Harring was next with a place of 23rd  at 51.84, and right behind her was Emma Reichheld,  24th with 51.91.  Tessa Dibble was 25th with 52.25, and Alice Henry finished 52nd with 59.62.
