The Concord selectmen appointed several residents to boards and committees this week and made one new nomination.
At its Monday meeting, the board nominated Don Hawley for the West Concord Task Force. Hawley has met with the task force, and he will be appointed at the next selectmen's meeting on July 12.
Appointments made Monday night include: John Shipe to the Planning Board; Toby Kramer to the Community Preservation Committee as the selectmen's representative; Kerry Diskin to the 2229 Main Street Committee as the Board of Health representative; Ann Colony and Marilyn Hughes to the Conservation Restriction Stewardship Committee.

At its Monday night meeting, the board is expected to hear from the solar committee, and dissolve the Willard School Building Committee.
Also, the board will hold a public hearing about changes to the West Concord Liquor Store.

The Concord Friends of the Aging is donating $23,1689 to the Council on Aging Van Drivers Gift Account.
The town's 375th birthday committee account will get $1,800 from the Cambridge Savings Bank, and $7,000 from TD Bank NA.
