Three C-C lacrosse teams and the Patriots' softball squad pick up victories this week.
The Concord-Carlisle eighth-grade A Town Pride League lacrosse team began this week with a decisive victory over Andover, a newcomer to the TPL.
There were in last Saturday’s game, including its first goal, which Clay Trussell scored just 7 seconds into the game. Will Blumenberg had four goals in the game.
On Monday, the softball team over Boston Latin Academy. The Patriots scored two early runs and held off a late rally to win what coach Lisa McGloin called their first close game of the season.

C-C’s boys’ lacrosse team with a victory over Lincoln-Sudbury High School on Tuesday. The Patriots never trailed in ousting their Dual County League rivals.
On Thursday, the Patriots’ girls’ lacrosse team to down Arlington High School. C-C co-captains Lindsay Cook and Jamie Potter had four goals apiece in their team’s seven-goal victory.
