Sports Week in Review, Aug. 20 - 26

It’s late August, almost time to start thinking about the leaves changing, days shortening and temperatures beginning to drop. Some folks around Concord athletics have already begun thinking about the fall.

Patch took a look at the upcoming for the Concord-Carlisle Youth Baseball and Softball organizations. Sessions run for all age ranges in both sports, giving players a chance to keep their skills sharp and learn a fundamental or two during the offseason.

Also this week, Concord-Carlisle High School athletic teams returned to the fields, trails and golf courses in preparation for another autumn season.
