Athletes from the Concord-Carlisle wrestling, boys' indoor track team wrap up winter season

After a long winter season, only a few athletic teams were still in action this week, as the boys’ wrestling team and the boys’ indoor track and field team still had individuals competing.
The Patriots' girls' hockey team is looking ahead to the MIAA Division 1 state tournament semifinals on Sunday.
For the wrestling team, sophomore Zach Bloom was in New Haven, Conn., over the weekend to compete in the New England Championship meet. He lost his first two matches of the tournament, but that turned in by the Patriots this winter.

In fact, many called it the most successful season for the wrestling program in the past five or six years.
As for the track team, it also had an entry in the New England meet. Last Friday, at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, the Patriots’ while breaking the 3-minute, 30-second barrier for the second time in a week.

The team consisted of David Blaides, Jibrail Coy, Teddy Pioli and Nathan Feshbach-Meriney. They were also third at the previous week’s All-State meet.
