Lent @ Trinity: Stations for Holy Week and Easter
Children, youth and their families invited to walk this contemplative story.

Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord invites children, youth and their families to walk through the Stations of Holy Week and Easter in our historic Chapel starting Thursday, April 18 through Saturday, April 20.
All ages can ponder God’s profound love for us as we remember Christ’s journey to the cross and the celebration of His resurrection. Nine interactive stations tell the Passion story: Jesus the King enters Jerusalem, Jesus’ Last Passover, Jesus is betrayed at Gethsemane, Pontius Pilate washes his hands, the Crown of thorns, Simon carries the cross for Jesus, Jesus is on the cross, Jesus is laid in the tomb, and the Tomb is empty. The stained glass drawing for each station comes from the children’s book Easter by Fiona French. Each of the nine stations has a few lines of scripture taken from the King James Bible, a few age-appropriate wondering questions, and an experiential activity. Allow 30 – 60 minutes to go through all nine stations, but give yourself more time for a deeper experience. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The drop-in hours are:
• Maundy Thursday, April 18 from 4–7 pm,
• Good Friday, April 19 from 1—4 pm, and
• Holy Saturday, April 20 from 10 am—noon.
