Town House Repairs Underway

Handicap ramp removed as indoor lift installed.

Starting Tuesday, and lasting until Friday, Aug. 6, handicap access to the Town House will be curtailed.

Assistance provided for handicapped residents will be through the Planning Office on Keyes Road from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday.

Town Clerk Anita Tekle said the lobby renovations are to better serve the community with mobility issues.

The entrance where the ramp used to be will be a door on the ground floor where residents or visitors will go into a small lobby with a staircase or entrance to a lift that will ascend to the main floor.

The main floor has an elevator to the offices and meeting rooms on the second floor.
