A Who's Who of the Concord-Carlisle Superintendent Finalists

Three candidates are said to be in the running to replace Diana Rigby, who will retire at the end of the school year.

CONCORD, MA – Concord-Carlisle Regional Public Schools Superintendent Diana Rigby will retire at the end of the school year – that much is certain. What isn't is who will be filling her shoes.

According to the Concord Journal, there are three candidates on the short list for the next superintendent – Lincoln-Sudbury Superintendent/Principal Bella Wong, Arlington Assistant Superintendent Dr. Laura Chesson and Duxbury Assistant Superintendent Dr. Laurie Hunter.

Wong has served as superintendent and principal of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School since July of 2013 and was previously superintendent of Wellesley Public Schools. Among her other accomplishments, under her oversight the district established Mandarin as an offered language, restored the school's drama class and established an annual instructional capital funding line, according to her application.
