Win Over Wayland Caps C-C's Regular Season
Boys' hockey beats Warriors, 5-0, now awaits announcement of tournament pairings.

The High School boys’ hockey team closed out the regular season with a bang, defeating Wayland High School 5-0 at the Edge Sports Center on Friday afternoon.
With the win, the Patriots (12-6-2) will now await to learn their fate for the MIAA North Division 1 sectional tournament. According to coach Kevin Harrington, C-C figures to earn either the No. 10 or No. 11 seed, depending on a coin flip with Peabody High School.
Before that, though, the Patriots had to take care of Wayland in the regular-season finale.

“Wayland is a well coached team and they made us do some things we didn’t want to,” Harrington said. “But the kids did a good job of adapting to it.”
