
The winter storm that swept through the state Tuesday morning wiped out the entire slate of games for athletic teams.
In all, 10 games were called off as many areas in the region were blanketed with a few inches of snow along with freezing rain. However, many have already been rescheduled for later dates.
The Patriot boys’ freshman, JV and varsity basketball games against Weston High School have all been moved to Wednesday at the high school. The freshmen and JV squads will kick off the triple-header at 4 p.m. The C-C varsity team will take on Weston at 5 p.m.

The girls’ triple-header against Weston was also moved to Wednesday. The Patriots will all hit the road for the freshmen and JV games at 4 p.m., with varsity to follow at 5:30 p.m.
Cross-country skiing will also have to wait a day for their scheduled meet. The Patriots will participate in the Dual County League meet, which is now being held at Weston on Wednesday. The new start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Boys’ swimming and diving is now slated to take on the Boston Latin School on Wednesday at 4 p.m. The meet will take place in Boston.
Only one game was outright canceled, and that was the JV boys’ hockey contest against Wayland. C-C and Wayland were schedule to meet at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday, that no makeup date was scheduled.
