Here's what's happening in the Berkshires as Berkshire Pride marks its 10th season (berkshireeagle.com) ā Berkshire Prideās 10th-season celebration brings a full slate of events across the county, including a June 26 evening dance party at Daltonās Stationery Factory on Flansburg Avenue. From parades and drag story hours to youth programming and fundraisers, residents can plug into Pride activities in Pittsfield, Lenox, Lee, North Adams, and right here in Dalton through mid-July.

ā¢ McLaughlin, Wahconah Edge Mashpee to Advance in D4 (iberkshires.com) ā Wahconahās baseball team delivered a shutout win in Dalton, with pitcher Sam McLaughlin going the distance and James Rabuse providing an early home run in a 2-0 state tournament victory over Mashpee. The win moves Wahconah into the Division 4 Round of 16 against Millbury, keeping local fansā postseason hopes alive. Ā Ā Ā
ā¢ Pittsfield Council OKs Similar Water/Sewer Rate Increases (iberkshires.com) ā Dalton residents may see higher wastewater costs to Pittsfield as a new intermunicipal agreement is expected to bring significantly more revenue from the town for treatment and disposal. Pittsfieldās council just approved 2027 water and sewer rate hikes, and the Dalton contract was sent to the Committee of the Whole for further review. Ā Ā Ā
