3 Teens Arrested After Reports of Malicious Damage to Cars

The following excerpts are from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from July 23-24.
Tuesday, July 23
- 9:19 p.m. Report of a car break-in at the Liberty Tree Mall. Police said a window was smashed.
- 9:42 p.m. Erik Dahlen, 18, and Brian Gibson, 18, both of Manchester-by-the-Sea, were arrested along with Sean Desmond, 19, of Essex, following a report of malicious damage to a vehicle (smashed window) on Burley Farm Road. All three teens were charged with two counts each of malicious or wanton damage or defacement.
- 9:54 p.m. Report of a smashed window on a vehicle on Burley Street.
- 11:18 p.m. Report of malicious damage to a car at the Ninety-Nine Restaurant. Police said the tires were slashed.
Wednesday, July 24
- 8:59 a.m. Report of a car break-in on Buxton Road.
- 11:12 a.m. Police recovered guns and/or ammunition at a Pine Street home.
- 2:22 p.m. Report of credit card fraud at the Home Depot on Route 1.
- 2:47 p.m. Report of a weapons law violation involving a firearm at Dick's Sporting Goods. No further details were available.
- 2:59 p.m. Report of a sign stolen at the Village Food Shop on High Street.
