2. Danvers Police To Host Annual D.A.R.E. The annual golf tournament raises money for youth education and outreach in Danvers, with options for individual golfers, foursomes, and multiple sponsorship levels. Registration includes 18 holes, lunch, contests, raffles, and recognition opportunities for local supporters.
3. Methuen Firefighter Among 30 to Graduate from Firefighting Academy (whav.net) — Danvers is among the Massachusetts communities represented in a new class of 30 firefighters graduating from the state's 50-day Career Recruit Firefighting Training Program. State fire officials say the recruits completed extensive classroom and live-fire training in skills like search and rescue, pump operation, and hazardous materials response, preparing them to protect their hometowns more safely and effectively.

Middleton Electric Light Department Commissioner Ken Rollins Honored with 2026 NEPPA Person of the Year Award (publicpower.org) — A longtime public power lineman who began his career with Danvers Water and Danvers Electric has been named NEPPA's 2026 Person of the Year. The piece traces his 47 years of service, from early work in Danvers to leadership and emergency restoration deployments across New England and beyond, highlighting how his technical skill and civic commitment strengthened local municipal utilities.
