Yoga Flow with Kathleen
This 60- minute Yoga class is ideal for beginners. It begins with breath work, gentle warm up linked to movement , followed by flowing poses transitioning from one pose to the next, building on foundational strength, stability, and flexibility . Functional movement and breath will be focused on throughout the class. Each week the classes will likely have some variability with the flowing style allowing participants to make choices for their own individual bodies and what feels right to them.<a href="https://danverslibrary.assabetinteractive.com/calendar/summer-yoga-series-2/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Click here to register.</a>
Yoga is an individualized practice so it is encouraged for participants to focus on their own bodies and individual needs. It is advised that participants check with their medical provider prior to starting any new exercise program or regime.
*Participants should bring their own mats, 2 blocks, and water. If they so choose a towel and/or a small pillow for comfort with positions.
About the Instructor
Kathleen Leary successfully completed Breathe for Change Yoga’s 200-hour yoga teacher training program which is registered with the Yoga Alliance. In addition, she completed Breathe for Change Mindfulness, and Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator program. She is honored to have the opportunity to share this yoga practice and journey with you.

Our country will be celebrating the conclusion of the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution 1776-2026 as well as the birthday of the United States Army. 
In addition, Military Service Day’s 11th anniversary symbolizes the unwavering support of our donors and volunteers that has been instrumental in creating an event known regionally, nationally, and internationally. 
Join us for a great day at the historic past home of General George S. Patton Jr. and experience the combined support of the U.S. Military, Veteran, Law Enforcement, History and Re-enactor Equipment Community. 
For 2026 the event will present two awards: the Joanne Holbrook Patton Writing Prize for high school and college students and the Dr. Howard E. Stone Jr. Award for Excellence in Veteran Mental Health Treatment.

Darlene Wigton, director of the Lexington History Museums Colonial Dancers, will review the history of social dance in the American Colonies. Wednesday, we will be treated to a demonstration of 17th and 18th century English Country Dance, followed by instructions for anyone who would like to join in. Wednesday attendance is not required for Sunday FUN!
On Sunday afternoon we will briefly review the figures, then enjoy dancing to live period music. Dancers of all skill levels are welcome, as well as spectators. Colonial period dress is encouraged, but not necessary!

It’s a matter of time. 50 years to be exact. And in that time Los Lobos have created an unprecedented body of work, a legacy of greatness. The numbers are staggering: 100+ gigs a year for five decades running, crossing millions of miles to rock millions of fans. And that’s just at the live shows. In between they’ve recorded 17 studio albums, 7 live LPs, 3 compilations, 2 EPs, 2 DVDs, and contributed 40+ guest appearances on their friends’ recordings—all garnering 4 Grammys, an Austin City Limits Hall of Fame induction, the ALMA Ritchie Valens Pioneer Award, NEA and Hispanic Heritage Foundation Honors, Congressional recognitions, plus countless “Keys to the City” and “Los Lobos Day” celebrations. And those are just a few of the highlights. But beyond all the hoopla and applause (and the source of it all, really) is the tremendous heart. Rather, hearts. Cinco corazones. Five blood brothers who have dedicated their off-stage time to helping others, working for peace and justice, penning some of the most literate and important music of their time, transforming the hard cries from the East L.A. barrio into songs of hope, tales of common folk finding ways to endure. The young wolves were weaned on late-night radio’s soul, R&amp;B, and doo-wop. Were cured through the African-American currents of the blues, jazz, and rock ‘n’ roll. An amalgam. As proud Chicanos, their songs have always glistened with the distillation from their Mexican and Latin American roots— nourished by Norteña and rancheras, buoyed by bolero and cumbias, soaring on the rhythms of son huasteco and son jarocho. Los Lobos have helped spread the rich diversity of cultures across every continent, throughout the global community. Kids in Antwerp now know about Aztlán. Residents of Luxor and Ghana are crooning Lalo Guerrero. People from Laos and Bulgaria are belting “La Bamba”—all thanks to The Wolves as cultural ambassadors. Talk about a living legacy. Talk about a productive half century. And in the true rebel spirit, they did it all on their own terms, against formula. For the ages. To our delight. Quite simply, they are one of the tightest, one of the best, one of the most prolific bands ever. And, amazingly, with the original founding members as the pack the entire time. Unprecedented. As their liner notes put it, quite simply: “Los Lobos still are David Hidalgo, Louie Pérez, Jr., Cesar Rosas, Conrad Lozano, Steve Berlin.”

Mark George, drums, also with the Joe Stump solo band, the Gia G band on Sliptrick Records, and in several other successful rock tribute bands with an extensive following;
