The following are excerpts from reports in the Danvers Police Department press log from June 14.

Friday, June 14

  • 12:24 a.m. Anthony Scola, 33, of 23 Murray St. Peabody, was arrested, following a car accident at the corner of Endicott and Sylvan streets. No injuries were reported and Scola was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol (first offense) and failure to stop.
  • 5:18 a.m. Report of a car accident with personal injuries on Route 128 South at Exit 23.
  • 2:45 p.m. Dana Penick, 26, of 65 Main St., Peabody, was arrested, following a report of a shoplifter at Kohl's. Penick was charged with one count of shoplifting.
