Boys Hoops Ranked 5th in State
The high school boys' basketball team has been ranked one of the top teams in the state after the first few games.
The Danvers High School boys basketball team has been ranked No. 5 in the state in ESPNBoston's latest rankings.
The defending state champions were listed at 3-0 in the ranking released on Thursday, but on Thursday night went to 4-0 on a win over Billerica.
Danvers moved up from No. 7 last week. In the ranking, ESPN said "defense has been terrific so far for the Falcons, allowing just 41.3 points per game."
